Custom Mosaic

Hand-Cut Mosaic
Built Piece by Piece

Custom mosaic tile is among the most labor-intensive work in the trade. We design, cut, and assemble mosaic installations in our studio — panel by panel — before bringing them to site for final installation.

Case Study

Kaleidoscope Haven

Every surface of this shower enclosure — walls, ceiling, floor, bench, and niche — was hand-assembled by our team. The installation was developed in collaboration with AOME Architects and Miller Interior Design for a custom waterfront home in Seattle.

Many tiles were individually cut to follow the organic curves of the Pacific Northwest marine life in the design. The panels were assembled flat in our studio before being transported and set on site.

How It Works

Studio to Site

01

Design & Reference

We work from your design team's artwork, renderings, or concept — translating 2D imagery into a material and layout plan for every surface. Complex designs require detailed surface mapping before a single tile is cut.

02

Studio Assembly

Panels are assembled in our studio. Tiles are cut to shape, arranged, and set section by section — allowing us to review the composition before anything is permanently installed. Many pieces require individual cuts to follow the lines of the design.

03

On-Site Installation

Completed panels are transported and installed by our union-certified team. We handle substrate preparation, waterproofing, setting, grouting, and final cleanup — a complete installation from start to finish.

What We Take On

Mosaic Scopes
We Work On

Custom mosaic projects are resource-intensive and not right for every timeline or budget. We work best with clients — and their design teams — who understand that and want the result that only this level of craft can produce.
